Registration fees

All fees are excluding 25% Swedish VAT.

The registration fee for participants includes all congress material, daily tea/coffee, lunch, admission to all congress sessions, poster area and entrance to the exhibition.

Cancellation of registration and social events

Until July 20th, cancellation is possible and you will be refunded 50% of the conference fee. We regret that no refunds can be made for cancellations received after july 21st.. If you cannot attend the conference, your registration is transferable to another member of your organisation, an administrative cost of SEK 250 will be charged. All changes should be done in written form to: eac2019@meetx.se

Cancellation of hotel

  • When the reservation is confirmed until 8 weeks before arrival, no charge will be taken if reservation is cancelled.
  • From 8 to 4 weeks before arrival – 50% of the total cost of the reservation will be charged.
  • From 4 to 2 weeks before arrival – 75% of the total cost of the reservation will be charged.
  • We regret that no cancellation within 2 weeks before arrival will be refunded.

Please note that change of arrival/departure dates within this deadline is to be counted as cancellation. Changes and/or cancellations has to be made directly in written form to Sweden MEETX and not to the hotel. It is possible to transfer your booking to another person.

VAT on fees 

The registration fees are stated in SEK excluding 25% Swedish VAT. Please note, in accordance with Swedish Value Added Tax (VAT) requirements, any company or organization from a country outside Sweden with a registered VAT number (or equivalent tax registration number for companies outside of the EU) is NOT required to pay Swedish VAT for registration fee attending the EAC2019 conference in Sweden. Delegates from Sweden are required to pay VAT.

Outside the conference fee, all delegates are required to pay VAT on social events (25%) and hotel (12%).

Important information

Please observe that the stated VAT number needs to be correct when registering for the conference. If the wrong VAT number is stated in the registration form a changing fee of SEK 250 will be charged and you will also be charged the VAT amount (25%). This mistake could also incur a penalty from the Swedish tax office for false information.

Please have your VAT/tax registration number ready before you start the registration process.

Method of payment

All payments should be made in Swedish Crowns (kr/SEK). All bank transfer charges in connection with transferring fees are to be paid by the delegate. No personal, company or Euro-cheques will be accepted.

Payment can be made by the following methods:
Credit card – Visa, MasterCard or American Express. Please note that all credit card payments are made through secure and encrypted online payment gateway, and will be listed as a transaction with Sweden Meetx AB on your credit card statement.

Invoice – Only possible for Swedish companies/organisations with a valid Swedish VAT number (Org.nr). Invoice should be paid within 30 days.
